Nininin meta
Sometimes seeing how the fandom is going about ranting on Ninninger, I feel like I'm part of the rare ppl that actually still enjoying Ninninger, as well as not minding Takaharu as a character.
I mean... If you argue that the actor was not good in acting, well, shouldn't that apply to a lot of past toku actors when they started their series? Also, if you argue that the show been focusing too much on Takaharu, tbh... I agree on that. But I don't think it's as bad as Daigo's writing on Kyoryuger.
That aside, I feel that Takaharu's writing is just fine. You'd argue that I set my standards low... but hey, considering that the main demographic are little boys, I don't try to think too much on stuff.
Also, to be frank, Takaharu being focused more in this earlier part is not too bad. (I might change this thought later on if the show still focus on him still but atm I don't think his character was that bad) I mean, from the start of the show its already established that Takaharu was the one really into the ninja thing. the others, not so much.
And only later on, the others started to really get serious on being the Last Ninja thing... either due to not wanting to lose out to Takaharu, or them realising that they do want to continue being a ninja. Cos of this, I don't really mind Takaharu being as he is. Sure, he's a bit dense on some parts... and I understand how his contant outbursts of being on fire can get annoying, but in a way, Takaharu acts as a catalyst to encourage the others to be a better ninja.
I mean, perhaps due to Takaharu (and Fuuka) being part of the main family line, he's being written as having the strongest ninja potential amongst the five. Yet, skill-wise, the other four would be much better than Takaharu. And that's fine, actually. And so far in the series, I like how the writing made use of this setting.
