Some old thing I managed to find in old memory...

MAKING OF V.V.'S HEADDRESS (CODE GEASS)



Material:

2 x big hair comb
manila card/thin board
jumping clay/soft clay
acrylic paint
strong glue
clear spray paint

Instruction:

1. Firstly, draw out the basic shape of the headdress to see how big you wanted it to be. Once you've decided on it, trace it onto the manila card and make two of them.

 

2. Glue the cut-out shapes onto the hair-combs to make the template base for the headdress
 

3. Lather some polymer glue all over the surface of the template base. Using the soft/jumping clay, apply the clay onto the template to form the headdress and sculpt the clay around until you achieve the form you wanted. Leave to dry. Do the same for the other hair comb.
4. Use bits of water to try smoothen the surface. You can also use sand paper on it.
5. During the drying, some of the clay parts might detached from the comb, so apply some more glue to keep it in place.
6. Once all that is done, paint the headdress using the acrylic paint.
7. Spray the whole thing with clear spray to finish em up.
