Despite there are chances that I might do episode per episode 'review' of the two series later... considering that I'm back to following ongoing drama again. Wonder if it's a beginning of year thing with me. XDDDDD Last time it was the same with Voice, Triangle, Mei-chan, QED, etc... XD. Despite I know chances are... people most probably won't even know about this DW. XDDDDDD. Except when I start pimping it XD
That... and I need a brake to regain my dark mood to continue my Orthros fic. These few days I'm more into the mood for crack. XO
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge/ヤマトナデシコ七変化 /Perfect Girl Evolution/Wallflower
Takano Kyohei is a handsome but bad-tempered university student who is always ready for a fight; Toyama Yujinojo possesses a cuteness that can be mistaken for a girl; the cool-headed Oda Takenaga excels in academics and sports; and the princely Mori Ranmaru loves females, accept a proposal from the female owner of the house where they are lodging at for “free lodging if they are able to transform her niece into a proper lady”. Her niece, Nakahara Sunako lives in a gloomy and solitary world because of an inferior complex about her looks.

Hahaha... my sister would have disagreed with me anyway, but we're talking about renzoku drama here, and pacing of the drama and a manga can't be compared the same way anyway. So yeah... this was the live action adaptation of the manga of the same title or Wallflower in English. Had to say that the choice of Johnny's chosen was... nice. (Kame being chosen for Kyouhei I like so very much! He might not look exactly as the manga counterpart--not the others as well--but at least he had the Kyohei feel. And I rather have him... rather than some J-Rock singer. Not biased but I'd rather be able to survive watching the drama thank you. The anime was too MABUSHI as well so I don't want the drama be the same. Tegonyan was cute as Yuki and Uchi was kakkoi as Takenaga. The Ranmaru cast was also okay, I was amused at reading that he's a dancer)
The drama seemed to have this standard format. There would definitely be a scene where Kyouhei would call Sunako Busunako and there's lighting and fight. XD And the end scene would always have Kyouhei giving this... doomed look. XD. Imma idiot XDD The age was hiked up... so Kyouhei-tachi were now university-aged (Sunako din go to uni tho it seemed) and they gave Nakahara Mine a son. There's also the other extra chara played by Osugi Ren. The plot for each episodes tend to be taken from several scenes from the manga and combined together to make a scenario for the boys to challenge in order to turn Sunako into a lady. Personally saying... I thoroughly enjoyed it. This being a renzoku, the pacing was expected to be sped up so there's no way you can really be choosy about how you want the drama to be like, so I praise the team for making it exciting so far. XD
I love the montage also and the song was nice. And having watched Nobuta wo Produce made me relate to the character Kame used to do (Shinji) which in a way kinda relates to Kyouhei. Nice.

Hidarime Tantei EYE/左目探偵ＥＹＥ SP & Drama
Tanaka Ainosuke was born with a weak left eye. Then one day, his older brother Yumehito dies mysteriously, right after Ainosuke receive a cornea transplant from him. After the surgery, whenever there is a shock to his left eye he sees strange images. Ainosuke assumes that the images might be clues to his brother's death and starts an investigation with the help of his junior high school nurse Sayama Hitomi. But just when their probe begins, an unidentified criminal organization
Similarly with Tantei Gakuen Q, (Yamada Ryosuke played Amakusa Ryu in this series) the series first started as a tanpatsu as an intro episode; followed with a renzoku series. Another series where Yamada-kun played a detective (The first was Amakusa Ryu in Tantei Gakuen Q, second as Furuhata Chogakusei) so well... in a way you can expect good performance from him, heh? Aside from the part he played as Ryo's cute little brother in Niini. XD. This was so far (that I've watched) the second series that Yamada-kun had acted alongside his Kanjani8 senpai. And this time after Yellow-kun... he acted as Black-kun's brother.
Yoko-tan... well, I wasn't paying attention to his past acting (Yukan club had been accidental, my sis was watching that...) though I feel like wanted to watch them later. Quiz Show especially... since Yoko-tan had been mentioning it sometimes on his J-web. Though at first glance, Yumehito's character seemed to mirror Black Eito's personality and chara... though Black-kun wasn't the villain. XD. My elder sis thought that Yoko-tan's past acts wasn't so good (sa)... but I think Yumehito is cool. (Yeah Yoko-tan! At least this girl liked how you portrayed Yume so well! ^_^) But then again... I love dark characters... XD Aside from the kakkoi ones...
The tanpatsu was more about the background story, on how Ainosuke first got his new eye... and Yume's supposed death. At which, Ainosuke doubted it was really an accident. And poor Ainosuke he had to allways he punched in order to set enough trauma to allow him to see visions from Yume's eye. His nurse teacher was funny too. It seemed she had this compulsion to do something that it was obviously not allowed, for obvious reasons. And she had this OCD behaviour of shopping when stressed and caused her having so much debts.
The tanpatsu was nice... it had that mysterious yet distorted feeling. You can really feel that there's more about Yume and that we only seen a brief shadow of his darkness. Cool. XD. Crystal Kay played a rival villain under the police custody in the renzoku. XD. Cool. Because of her dark complexion... you had this aura of mafia-ness. XDDDDD. Okay~ I'll watch the next eps now... XD

Because in YamaNade LAD (Live action Drama) there's Kamenashi Kazuya (KAT-TUN), Tegoshi Yuya (NEWS), Uchi Hiroki (former NEWS/Kanjani8) and in Hidarime there's Yoko-tan (Kanjani8) and Hamada Ryosuke (HSJ!)... are all from Johnny's XDDDD. Yeah... I'm a closet-but-now-being-very-obvious Johnny's fan.... hahahahahah~ The fannit seed is DEEP, first with V6 (Nagano Hiroshi being cast as Daigo is a MAJOR influence hahahahaha I love the guy since the very beginning I set my eyes on him XD), then Kinki Kids (Tsuyoshi-tan~)... Arashi, TAKKI!!!!, SMAP (Especially Takuya Kimura... and Inagaki Shun--ever since Triangle, and his random G... and everything falls to drain ever since hahahahahaa), and well... you know... NEWS and Kanjani8 (But one probably have guessed it's mostly because of Ryo... and Yamapi)... and yeah Hey Say Jump. (And HEY THERE KAZAMA SHUNSUKE! I NEVER KNEW YOU'RE A JOHNNY'S BUT HEY I LOVE YOU SINCE YOU'VE VOICED YAMI YUGI/ATEMU AND I LOVE PAGE BUT I ONLY JUST FOUND OUT YOU'RE A JOHNNY'S JUST RECENTLY. AND YES! IKUTA TOMA! HOW MANY THERE ARE STILL THOSE INVISIBLE JOHNNY'S XO) Ignore the other talent group... (D-Boys, DD-Boys, PureBoys, etc) because that's another fandom trap for me... XD
But then again I guess it's inevitable and a blessing. That mostly for Live Actions Dramas/Musicals based on manga/anime/novel/etc and Toku series, half of the talents are taken from these idol pools/groups. For one thing... most of the times the choice actually SURPRISINGLY fit the drama/musical to the point that you actually thought the manga/etc came to live! And it gave these talents some work... which is good. (I love Japanese Idols because of this. HK/Chinese/Msia/etc idols tend to have short life somehow. Or thats more because I rarely watch chinese dramas nowadays anymore... I'm neutral about Korean idols, because I'm biased to my Japanese idols XDDDD) Okay I started rambling... XD. Never mind~
Anyway it just amazed me now... because when I looked back at some of the dorama/Toku that I watched... there would DEFINITELY be those Johnny's/XXX-Boys/Tokuboys lurking there. XDDDDD It's like just realising... I actually a fan of them for a very long time... and not just recently. XDDDDDDDDDDDD Like hey... I used to see Ryo's face back from Attention Please! During the time I din even know he was part of NEWS and I used to remember liking that guy character that used to wanna be a pilot but cannot cos can't fill requirement. 8D.
