Kamen Rider OOO Episode 17
Date introed himself briefly as Eiji finds out Ankh reads kanji well! Oh so random. Chiyoko and Hina returns from trip as Hina brings gift to Eiji... and even had one specially made for Ankh. How cute~ Wondering about the situation... it's just so Eiji that he didn't catch Ankh saying 'I'd do (create Yummy) it if I could.' Perhaps later in the future this would come up again, suppose? Then we have the Oden fetish of Date which probable gonna be recurrent gag for Date.
So this arc revolve Shiratori Rie from a kendo school with her secret desire and Uva taking advantage of it. Ankh finds out what's his present and seems happy, haha~ And you know, in a way... Ankh showed his concerns over Eiji discreetly by giving Eiji the right combo during a fight. But then again, it's probably just strategy XD. Stil so far... Date Akira didn't faze me much. Still amused at Birth being referred as Kamen Rider Gashapon hahaha... cos true enough, the belt held a gashapon XD. But hey... the medals played a part in this universe so that cannot be avoided.
Hey... the most ridiculous of ideas to me would still remain to be Zearth. Toothbrush as a henshin device!~ Cards, USB memories, medals/coins, etc... are not that bad. XD (Cute tho XDDD)
And well... another fandom that got my this month was the Guardians of Ga'hoole. You know... it's always the series that I didn't tried to convince myself to like that always end up with me liking it. See Decade and OOO. And this also because I had nother else to watch but the movie because that time was bunking at my sister's college apartment the night before CF day 1, though unplanned; was actually quite convenient. Since day one was the day I had to bring more stuff along...
Well, the movie was nice. And cute too. Totally loved Ezylryb hahaha~ that even before I know that Geoffrey Rush was voicing him XD. And well, since the movie was a piece made up by taking 3 books' plot and made a new story, well... the end result gave the movie a bit of a Star Wars vibe and then some. But hey~ still a good movie, and a good intro and what is about the series. Started reading the ebooks... and already finished the first three. Though personally... I'd prefer an actual volume set. But knowing some bookshops, they might jack the price up JUST because the movie was out. Well... some. I used to remember buying Fellowship and Two Towers from this small shop, the earlier versions before they reprinted the trilogy into a more sleek cover. It wasn't really cheap... but not that pricey either. Used to relished it. But then when the Fellowship movie out and I went back for Return of the King... the blasted ppl there tripled the price bloody hell! And that old version of the book was not much thicker than the other two.
Well... yeah. Keeping the ebooks for now until getting the actual ones if i can.Seriously nice series. The books expanded more than the movie could, plus the movie plot did not take the plots out exactly. For instance... Soren was the only one snatched by St. Aggie's owls in the book. The Pure Ones and the Owls of St. Aggie were also not the same group. So far Nyra is the only one owl taken not from the early three books and so far, Allomere perhaps just a movie only owl. Book verse went about differently, fleck effects was different. More back stories were covered~ and Grimble's story was slightly different as well. But most importantly, The Battle of the Ice Talons was different as well as the identity of Metal Beak. XD And some other facts about Soren's story was also different hohoho~ But the best part I loved about the book was how crude was Ezylryb/Lyze's speech is! So like a pirate owl~~~ Made me love Geoffrey Rush voicing him even more~ Now his voice stuck as Ezylryb for me xD
The movie still fine~ I wanna rewatch if they did add in some owls around even if they weren't given active roles. I know at least Bubo the Blacksmith was there. And Strix Struma~~ And the many songs, poems, hymns in the books~ such fun! If you've read Tolkien's trilogy and his other Middle Earth books, you might find this particular part of those books kinda exhausting to read since Tolkien can drag them too long. I don't wanna look into Tom Bombadil's song. XO
But for the Gahoole series, these songs aren't that bad. Even Twilight's. I love Twilight's battle songs the most. You only hear a bit in the movie, but in the books... Twilight's battle songs can even be deadly and sents enemy owls to yeep. XD So fun~
Haa~ back to reading Book 4~
