So putting this here just because. XD From this.
So far it appears that Rose's influence still remained prominent in New Who companions. Clara did show some parallels to her as well.
First encounter with the Doctor
Rose - First time she met the Doctor, Nine saved her from the Autons. And out of curiousity, she tried to look for the Doctor. In response, Nine told her to 'Forget about him'

Clara - (Not counting Asylum) First time meeting the Doctor, the Doctor was reluctantly looking up clues about the talking snow and inadvertently saved Clara. He told her to 'Forget about him.
Kissing the Doctor
Rose - Even if it was actually Cassandra, she probably reacted to Rose's repressed desire to kiss him anyway. And in Journey's End, she did kissed Ten2 when he offered to stay with her.
Clara - Hehehhe~
Reactions to the TARDIS
Rose - Looks around in shock, goes outside, circle around the TARDIS, walks back in and... "It's Bigger on the Inside!"
Clara - Looks around in shock, goes outside, circle around the TARDIS, walks back in and... "It's Smaller on the Outside!"
Versions of Doctor met
Rose - She met the Doctor who was just fresh from the Great Time War. She changed the bitter Doctor into becoming better.
Clara - She met the Doctor post Angels Take Manhattan (Well technically, Asylum if we assume the Doctor was travelling back to Amy and Rory backwards) The Doctor had turned into a scrooge who refused to involve himself to saving anyone anymore until Clara.
I suppose we'll see more parallels, judging on the previews... but surely there be parallels.
Yet there's a crucial difference that separate Clara from Rose. In that... so far, Clara had died TWICE. (As a Dalek and killed by the Snow creatures) Yet it seemed, by fate... her incarnations always end up meeting the Doctor and having the same name and quirk in personality! Wonder if there were something more behind this (Knowing Moffat that's a possibility) Clara may not just be some normal human being...
