Finished watching the series... probably rewatching the specials later...
Yeah... I think I'd say my opinions will remain averagely the same. The drama could have been better if it was longer. To cover Michiru's, Ruka's, Takeru's, Sousuke's, Eri's story in full force. And that includes their pasts that have shaped them into becoming what they are in the present. I think I already said enough about Ruka in the previous post, she only had a bit of appreciation on my part at the last episode. Still, I've skipped A LOT of her scenes. Because to me, her character could have been better of understood if there were more scenes on her tackling her gender issues from the very beginning of the series and to HELL with the motorcross thing. I mean... those extra racing scenes would have been better of GONE. It's totally BORING! The series was not about motorcross after all. If it is, I have no objections on that. Maybe later I go looking for the manga, that's about Michiru and Ruka in highschool.
You know, when I said longer... I also wished they could have touched more on Sousuke's past. On what had caused him to grow up being the bipolar guy he ended up to be. And more stories on the time he first met Michiru. You know LOL, having typed this... I had the insane muse to right fanfics on Sousuke. Dang Ryo~ First it was Ryosuke... then it's Sousuke... and you gotta bet I probably be random and write about Taisuke next. XDDDD. Because seriously, despite what Sousuke did was wrong... he's not fully at fault. He didn't wanted to be like that also. And the side story with the kid he helped out was proof he still had his nice side. It's just the circuitry in his head busted in some way... And that by itself, is a good fic material. I always had a pension with angst~
Takeru's story too... his story deserved attention as well. And Eri's... but then compared to Sousuke I didn't have much passion on them. XD
I love Nishikido Ryo's acting~ like seriously~ And Mind Bender is still my favourite theme... XD
