Heh~~ watching Meitantei Conan ~ Challenge to Shinichi gave me a lot of feeling. Hah~
First, it's mostly because Jinnai Takanori as Mouri Kogorou was always lul. Second... because of the appearance of random toku cast spotted in between. Matsumoto Wakana (Airi: Den-O) in the Kiss episode... and then Hijii Mika (Kaoru/Orchid Undead: GARO/Blade) in the Actress episode... as well as Matsuzaka Tori (Tono: Shinken) as Hattori Heiji. Finally after a while I get it as to why Mizubata Junpei had been chosen as Shinichi. Well... maybe not really, since the reasons could be different but with the drama, suddenly the choice of using Junpei turned out great. Especially considering you had Heiji in this drama. Being played by Tori.
Because if you know the manga, you should know that aside from their skin colour... Heiji and Shinichi really looked alike. And it took that episode to make me also realize... HEY! Junpei and Tori DO resembled each other a bit. Coincidental or not... that's kinda cool. Even the girl playing Kazuha and Ran as well. Not to mention I like how Tuti was cast as Takagi... and I love the Sato... and Eri~~~ <3 It's like she came out of the manga~~~ <3
Some of the cases felt a bit familiar--is like reference from Tantei Gakuen/Kindaichi/etc, though the one where it was a recreation of the murder case in the manga just struck a cord. It was almost exact recreation aside from the last part where it changed. I cried like whoa. Nostalgia~ Though it would be nice if the revealed Yusaku's face. <3 The fact that the ending was changed so that it didn't end with Conan appearing instead.... somehow, a part of me was a surprised. We'll get to this later...
The twist at the end was... surprising. Though considering this drama DID set before the Tropical Land incident, what about that episode with the whole recreation of the case in Conan? Then again even the manga was like a time paradox, What you mean it's STILL in one same year???
Haha~ /geeks
