Hahahaha gonna lug my ass and make this post as I had intended... cos for sure there would be PLENTY of people gonna start asking anyway. So if anyone STILL gonna whine and says that it's hard to go MIECC via Public Transport and using it as an excuse to say you can't come despite wanting yet you don't even what to put in effort to find ways to come.... well, have fun. (It's not like I really want your whiny complainy ass to the event tho) To non-Malaysian and other decent Malaysians that are reading this, rest assured this was NOT directed to you guys. I heard too much complaints from the local kids about stuffs like this it annoy me so much. Cos some Malaysian kids are so frustrating!
Ehem, also... because WAY EARLIER the way I hear how people had fuss about the difficulty to reach to MIECC implying that the distance from the nearest train station was really far, well I decide to show how it's actually not that far.
Sure, the only downside of this tho... it means that it might be hard on you if you are bringing a lot of luggage to CF. AKA if you are planning to bring your whole house over... try to keep your luggage as few as possible or have a less bulky costume if you're planning to come over by public transport. Either that, or carpool with friends or if you could... get a hotel nearby the venue.
Because, while the approx distance between KTM Serdang and Mines was more or less 1 km, it'll still be a problem to walk there IF you're bringing a lot of stuff. If you aren't bringing a lot of stuff... well, that distance should be good for an early exercise anyway. You'd need it anyway if you want to survive whole day at the convention.
(In b4 complains about the rising prices of all train fares)
[EDIT] Okay, Kinda forgot this part. I'm assuming everyone KNOWS how to take their trains to KTM Serdang. Cos yeah, I am NOT going to cover that part. Do peruse all your LRT Putra, Star, Monorail, KTM, buses knowledge well. ^^
[EDIT 2] I uploaded a list of all the Rapid KL bus numbers (no route maps) so you can check on what buses to take. Since they changed all the numbers recently.
[EDIT 3] Apparently there's a shuttle from KTM Serdang to MIECC. As well as another from LRT Sungai Besi. Look out for the buses with CF logo!

[EDIT 4] Saw in The Mines website listing some method of travel via bus but decided to not include it since the bus numbers listed were outdated and I can't find/confirm the new numbers to still follow the old routes. So not including that info.
So... without much ado, here's a (quite) detailed guide on how to get to MIECC from KTM Serdang.
Disclaimers: Aside from the THREE pictures of the KTM Serdang station, tunnel entrance from the opposite side, and Mines entrance door from the other side; all pictures are taken while facing straight and walking forward. Not counting this pic below which is to show the amenities available at the station itself (that just happened to have my sister's face on it)

So this is our starting point (ignore my sis's mug there she loves to photobomb). So depending on what time you come, you might want to settle some 'business' first. Who knows... you need it. Like if you wanna go toilet, go pray, call friends whatever.
I'd strongly advise you don't take taxis to the venue, cos... some drivers might want to cheat you money or try to charge higher fare on you. If you really had to take taxis anyway, instead of telling them to take you to MIECC... tell them to take you towards Mines Shopping complex. Cos that was nearer... and (hopefully) they won't try to cheat to make you pay higher fare by using the highway road instead of the normal roads or take a roundabout paths to get you to the place.
That aside...

So there's that option.
Now, without further ado...

Okay... aside from this I guess, the only thing remaining is that.... PRAY THAT WEEKEND THE HEAVENS DON'T DECIDE TO HAVE RAIN POURING CATS AND DOGS
XD
